The customer had been experiencing ongoing issues with blocked gutters caused by moss falling from the roof and clogging the downpipes. This resulted in water overspilling from the gutters and led to damp appearing repeatedly in the same area inside the property. In addition, the customer was frustrated with constantly having to sweep up moss debris around the house.
We carried out a DOFF high-temperature, low-pressure steam cleaning service to safely and effectively remove moss from the roof tiles without causing damage. This was followed by an application of BAC50 Pro biocide treatment to inhibit future moss and organic re-growth.
Once the roof was treated, we thoroughly checked and cleared all gutters and downpipes to ensure correct water flow and drainage. Finally, we rinsed down the exterior of the property and cleared away all debris, leaving the site clean, tidy, and fully functional.
