Our customer had been experiencing damp inside the property. Upon inspection, we found the gutters were completely full of standing water due to a blocked downpipe. Because the downpipe was unable to drain correctly, water was overflowing from the centre of the gutter and running down the front of the house.
Water will always find a way through even the smallest cracks and joints, and over time this led to moisture ingress into the property. This caused the internal walls to become damp, creating a potential hazard as saturated plaster can weaken and eventually fall away.
We cleared and repaired the blocked downpipes, restored proper water flow, and resolved the issue. Since the remedial works were completed, the property has remained dry with no further signs of damp.
“Had Dan and the team over last week. Although weather conditions weren’t the best they got the job done and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough!”
