The client initially opted for a lower-cost contractor earlier in the year, however the surface continued to become extremely slippery, resulting in players slipping, falling, and sustaining injuries. The previous clean also left an uneven finish due to incorrect cleaning techniques, and unfortunately caused additional issues on site.
When we attended, our priority was to restore the surface to a safe, playable condition. We carried out a professional clean using the correct methods to achieve a smooth, even finish, leaving the court clean, tidy, and safe for netball use.
The client was very happy with the results. To further protect the surface, we applied a biocide treatment to help delay the return of algae and slippery growth. We are scheduled to return in the spring as part of an ongoing maintenance plan.
